Dana Kuhar, reading through all the positions you mentioned just reminds me of how many ways people can dry hump, which is what makes tribadism so much fun to write about and rework!

Being a queer woman myself (who knows a ton of other queer women), I can say that some women scissor, some don’t, and it can look a myriad of different ways. But porn has definitely oversexualized and overproduced this whole idea. For me personally, I’ve heard the term “scissoring” be used way more by straight cis-men than anyone in my community. Which just goes to show how the term has been co-opted and overly sexualized.
