I completely agree. Looking back on my teacher's actions is still mind-boggling. I grew up in Los Angeles, a pretty liberal place, and am still surprised by this woman’s actions and the complete lack of accountability for her inappropriate behavior.

I definitely remember the public discussions about LGBTQIA folks in the army, not to mention the controversial “don’t ask, don’t tell”. I’m glad society continues to get better but we have such a long way to go!
