Yael, you've done it again. Every person who identifies with their femininity needs to read this (not to mention those who date femmes), I felt so seen and related so hard on so many levels. Reading this also gave me a sexual epiphany. I often share with women/feminine people that empowered sexual liberation isn't striving to feel sexual 24/7. Rather, I see sexual liberation as honoring your boundaries and having the confidence to advocate for your sexual needs. It has little to do with how sexual anyone is, it's about how we treat ourselves--which is an imperfect journey. You also reminded me how feeling sexual liberation and empowerment means we can RECEIVE pleasure. Which is so hard, especially for people socialized as a womxn. I always love reading your work and experience. You are wise, candid, and vulnerable. I believe you are helping break the glass ceiling of feminine sexual pleasure.
